For more than 50 years, Tyner UMC Preschool has successfully provided a safe, enriching, nurturing, and Christ-centered environment for your children so that they may grow socially, emotionally, physically, intellectually, and spiritually.
Tyner UMC Preschool is led by a preschool board comprised of current and retired Hamilton County teachers, all of whom support and advise the school’s director and faculty. Tyner UMC Preschool’s teachers have many years of experience working with and for children, but most of all, they love children and are passionately committed to encouraging your child to grow and thrive.
In addition to providing top-tier, age-appropriate curriculum, Tyner UMC Preschool also offers a range of enrichment opportunities to your children, including music and dance classes, Spanish classes, regular field trips, school-wide productions, holiday class parties, and “special days,” like Pajama Day, Water Day, Dr. Seuss Day, and more.
Our prestigious preschool is a two-day program with classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 a.m. through 2 p.m. Classes are offered for children ages 12 months through Pre-K 4. All children must be the age required for their class on or before August 15th. Children one year of age may choose to register for one or two days a week. Children two years and older must register for a full two-day program.
We are conveniently located on the corner of Standifer Gap Road and Hickory Valley Road, just minutes from Shallowford Road and Hamilton Place Mall.
Tyner UMC Preschool does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, or ethnic background in regards to enrollment or educational policies.
